I’m always like, “my hometown is an island,” and people often respond, “but it’s connected to the mainland, surely that piece of land floating below your hometown is an actual island?” And I guess they’re right. There’s no bridge between Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, but Wightlink Ferries are a nice next-best-thing.
